How does it work?BOTOX® Cosmetic targets one of the underlying causes of frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines — the repeated muscle contractions from frowning, squinting, smiling and raising the eyebrows over the years. Your specialist will inject these muscles with BOTOX® Cosmetic to temporarily reduce muscle activity. You will begin to notice a visible smoothing of the frown lines between your brows, your crow’s feet lines and your forehead lines.

Will I look overdone or unnatural?BOTOX® Cosmetic is a technique-sensitive treatment. You can trust BOTOX® Cosmetic to deliver subtle results when you are treated by someone who is licensed, trained, and a medical expert in facial anatomy. So you’ll look like yourself—only with less noticeable lines. No one should be able to tell you’ve had anything done.

Will I see results quickly? How long does it last?You may begin to notice results within 24 to 48 hours, with full results in 30 days, with results lasting up to four months for moderate to severe frown lines. Remember that results vary from patient to patient though, so your physician will plan your next appointment based on your results and aesthetic goals.

Is there any recovery time?Treatment requires minimal downtime. So you can return to your daily routine immediately after you leave our office.

What are possible side effects?Three percent of patients experienced eyelid drooping in the frown lines studies, one percent of patients experienced eyelid swelling in the crow's feet studies, and one percent of patients experienced brow drooping in the forehead lines studies. Other possible side effects include: dry mouth; discomfort or pain at the injection site; tiredness; headache; neck pain; eye problems: double vision, blurred vision, decreased eyesight and dry eyes; and allergic reactions. These are not all of the possible serious side effects of BOTOX® Cosmetic.

Does it hurt?The treatment is minimally invasive and generally painless. A numbing cream is applied to your skin before the procedure which can minimize any discomfort, and you will also be awake throughout the procedure and able to let us know if anything bothers you.

What is the recover time?Your skin will usually look a little flushed and feel like you have been in the sun too long immediately after the procedure. Most patients completely recover and enjoy the effects of the treatment within 24 to 72 hours after the procedure. If you plan to be outside, you will want to use sunscreen and a hat during the recovery time to protect your skin during healing.

How many treatments to see results?Most patients require one to three treatments before they begin to see results, within four to six treatments you will see improvements in acne, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, and stretch marks.

How long does it last?Everyone responds differently to the treatment. Some patients see effects sooner than others and likewise the effects last longer in some patients than in others. While not permanent, the procedure does offer long-lasting and natural results.

What can Juvederm be used for?JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA® XC injectable gel is for deep injection in the cheek area to correct age-related volume loss and for augmentation of the chin region to improve the chin profile in adults over 21. JUVÉDERM® VOLLURE® XC, JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus XC, and JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC injectable gels are for injection into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. How long does it last?The answer is that it depends on the type of dermal filler you're using. Some dermal fillers can last for six to twelve months, while other dermal fillers can last up to five years. Does it hurt?Pain tolerance varies from person to person, but most of our clients find that the treatment is more comfortable than expected! All clients are numbed using a topical cream that works before the injection, plus our products also contain lidocaine in them so you will begin to feel numb from that too.

How to prepare?Like any injection, fillers can result in some slight bruising so it’s best to stop taking blood thinners like aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications (ibuprofen, naproxen, etc.) for a week prior to treatment. Additionally, avoid alcohol, fish oil supplements, vitamin E, and herbal supplements for a few days prior to the procedure, unless medically necessary

What can I expect after?We ask that you please plan your treatments with enough time ahead of special events (NOT the day before your wedding) because bruising, redness, swelling or tenderness in the treated area are all normal/expected side effects of injections and will generally take a few days to disappear. Regarding immediate after-care, be sure to apply a cool compress to the treatment area (do not apply ice directly to skin) for approximately 5-10 minutes every half an hour on the day of treatment. Avoid any pressure or heat inducing activities for 24 hours such as strenuous exercise, spas, saunas and hot showers.

How many sessions are needed?Morpheus8 begins to stimulate changes almost immediately after the first treatment. A series of 1 to 3 treatments are recommended, depending on the results the patient wants to achieve. For best results, these treatments should be done 4-6 weeks apart.

Is there downtime?There is minimal downtime. You can expect the skin to be red and or swollen for 1-5 days post treatment.

How long does it last?It takes 28 days to form new collagen. During those first 28 days, your skin will be reorganizing and remodeling deep into the subcutaneous layer of tissue. So, sit back and wait for the transformation! After just one Morpheus8 treatment, you can expect to continue to see changes in your skin for up to 3 months. Once the remodeling has occurred, you may opt for a 2nd treatment to further your improvement. Nothing will freeze you in place forever, however, it does give you a new starting point! What is the treatment like? Does it hurt?During your Lumecca IPL treatment, there will be a bright flash of light from the Lumecca device which produces a sensation similar to that of a light rubber band snap. Redness and warming of the skin are normal after treatment, and usually subside within an hour. Most patients find the treatment to be quite tolerable.

How many sessions are needed?An improved skin tone appearance can be achieved in as little as one IPL treatment session, however, most patients elect to undergo a minimum of three treatments with our Lumecca IPL, typically providing even better results. The IPL treatment regimen is determined based on the severity of skin damage, skin type and specific type of treatment needed.

What are the side effects?While side-effects vary, patients receiving an IPL treatment like Lumecca may experience a slight warming sensation and redness immediately following the IPL treatment, however, this typically subsides within hours. Most patients will experience a darkening of pigmented spots within 24 to 48 hours of their treatment. These dark spots will then flake off throughout the following week. Some patients find their skin is sensitive to sunlight immediately after the treatment. We recommend you avoid direct sunlight or tanning for at least 6 weeks following your IPL treatment.

Does it work on light hair?Compared to lasers that use just the 810 nm wavelength, the Diolaze XL is more effective on light blond and fine hairs. The result is the very quick and efficient permanent removal of pigmented and minimally pigmented hairs.

How do you prepare for Diolaze?For at least six weeks prior to undergoing laser hair removal treatment, avoid waxing and plucking. These forms of hair removal remove the hair at the root, which is needed for laser hair removal to work properly. Shaving prior to treatment is okay.
